Position Overview:
A renowned Greek shipowner is seeking an experienced Steward or Stewardess to join a general cargo vessel operating in Greek waters. This role is ideal for professionals dedicated to maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness on board.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of crew and officer accommodations.
Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, and ironing.
Assist in meal service and ensure the dining area is clean and well-organized.
Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies as needed.
Collaborate with the galley and deck departments to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
Valid Steward/Stewardess license or certification.
Previous experience in a similar role on cargo vessels is preferred.
Willingness to consider candidates with Messman experience holding a Steward/Stewardess license.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Greek is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
